Thompson Construction Group has current openings for Grader Operators supporting operations in the Fort McMurray area. This role involves operating graders safely and efficiently within active construction and earthworks environments while maintaining high standards of safety, communication, and equipment care.Responsibilities:Operate graders for road building, haul road maintenance, ditching, sloping, scarifying, ripping, and embankment supportRead and interpret grade stakes and site requirements as neededOperate Caterpillar graders (H and M series), with or without GPS controlPerform pre-operational and routine equipment inspections prior to useFollow direction from supervisors regarding work areas and daily tasksMaintain awareness of ground disturbance requirements and underground utilitiesOperate equipment in accordance with company policies, procedures, and safe work practicesParticipate in site safety meetings and safety programsIdentify and report hazards, unsafe conditions, and equipment concernsReport incidents, near misses, and equipment damage to site supervisionCommunicate effectively with supervisors, spotters,
