Pourquoi rejoindre notre équipe

Au sein de P&W;, l’équipe d'ingénierie des installations d’essais est chargée de concevoir, construire et adapter les bancs d’essais pour tous les types de moteurs ainsi que leurs composants dans le but de répondre aux exigences rigoureuses de chaque essai moteur. Les équipements mis en service par notre équipe technique sont essentiels à la certification de nouveaux moteurs et à la validation de leur performance avant la livraison aux clients. En tant que stagiaire en génie mécanique, vous travaillerez sous la supervision étroite d’un ingénieur sénior sur un projet de réfection majeure d’un banc d’essai destiné à effectuer des tests de combustion à l’hydrogène. Vous serez appelé à collaborer avec les techniciens, les sous-traitants et les entrepreneurs impliqués dans le projet. D’autres mandats pourraient s’ajouter en cours de stage selon les besoins opérationnels.

À quoi ressemblera votre quotidien?

- Effectuer de la recherche technique (sur internet, auprès des distributeurs des équipements, etc.)
- Rédiger de la documentation technique
- Réviser les plans et devis transmis par l’entrepreneur et l’ingénieur-conseil
- Répondre aux questions techniques de l’entrepreneur




- Effectuer des relevés sur le site de construction lorsque requis (déplacements requis entre l’usine de Longueuil et celle de Mississauga)

Qu’est‑ce qu’il vous faut pour réussir?

- Être éligible à travailler au Canada.
- Être inscrit dans une université canadienne pendant toute la durée de votre stage.
- Être en mesure de travailler sur place dans la province où vous êtes embauché, le cas échéant.
- Poursuivre des études au baccalauréat en génie mécanique ou dans un domaine apparenté.
- Excellentes compétences en communication en français (parlé/écrit) et en anglais.
- Être autonome / débrouillard, avoir un bon sens de l’organisation, être méticuleux.

At P&W;, the Test Facilities Engineering team is responsible for designing, building, and modifying test stands for all types of engines and their components to meet the rigorous requirements of each engine test. The equipment commissioned by our technical team is essential for certifying new engines and validating their performance before delivery to customers. As a mechanical engineering intern, you will work under the close supervision of a senior engineer on a major overhaul project for a test stand designed to perform hydrogen combustion tests. You will be required to collaborate with technicians, subcontractors, and contractors involved in the project. Additional assignments may be added during the internship depending on operational needs.

January 5th to April 23rd 2027.

The position is based at our Longueuil location; internship from Monday to Friday, with flexible schedule and exclusively on-site.

What will your day‑to‑day look like?

- Conduct technical research (online, with equipment distributors, etc.)
- Draft technical documentation
- Review plans and specifications submitted by the contractor and the consulting engineer
- Answer technical questions from the contractor
- Conduct site surveys at the construction site as needed (travel required between the Longueuil and Mississauga plants)

What do you need to be successful?

- Be eligible to work in Canada.
- Be enrolled at a Canadian university for the entire duration of your internship.
- Be able to work on‑site in the province where you are hired, if applicable.
- Be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
- Excellent communication skills in French (spoken and written) and English.
- Be self‑reliant and resourceful, have good organizational skills, and be meticulous.

Although this position is part of a French‑speaking work environment,



it requires a working knowledge of English to read and understand specialized instructions, plans, drawings and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and sometimes communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues.
