About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Dispatch Officer to join their operational team in a fully remote capacity. This role is critical for ensuring the productive coordination and management of our fleet and delivery schedules nationwide. You will oversee dispatch operations, provide guidance to dispatch teams, and implement strategies to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency. This position offers a unique opportunity to lead dispatch functions from anywhere, contributing significantly to our logistics network that serves clients across South Africa, including areas around Kimberley, while maintaining high standards of performance and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities

Manage and oversee daily dispatch operations, ensuring timely and accurate assignment of vehicles and drivers. Provide leadership and mentorship to the dispatch team, setting performance goals and monitoring progress. Develop and implement effective dispatch strategies and protocols to improve efficiency and reduce response times. Utilize dispatch software and communication systems to monitor fleet status, manage exceptions, and resolve issues proactively.



Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and customer service departments to ensure seamless service delivery. Analyze dispatch data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement. Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of experience in dispatch operations, fleet management, or a related transportation field. Proven experience in a supervisory or senior role within a dispatch environment. Strong knowledge of dispatch software, GPS tracking systems, and fleet management principles. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, essential for managing remote teams.
