Contribute to WoodGreen's mission as a Maintenance Operator located in York, Ontario. This full-time role prioritizes preventive maintenance across various building systems.
In this permanent position, you will handle repairs and inspections on multiple building structures, working exclusively onsite. Collaborate with other teams and assist in managing building issues as they arise. The role necessitates rotating on-call duties to handle emergencies beyond the standard hours.
Key Responsibilities:
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance tasks
• Inspect electrical, plumbing, and structural systems
• Operate tools such as multi-testers and power tools
• Perform repairs on HVAC units and furniture
• Ensure compliance with building standards and codes
Requirements:
• Experience in maintaining and repairing building systems
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals
• Robust troubleshooting skills for various maintenance tasks
• Capability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility to work overtime and on call as required
