Brandt Tractor Ltd is currently seeking a Foreman reporting to our Nanaimo Construction and Forestry location. The successful applicant for this position will be responsible for the daily organization and dispatch of technicians, providing quality repair work for the Nanaimo Service Department, advising and making recommendations to the Service Manager regarding technician skills and training needs.Duties & ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the organization of the work performed and quality controlSupervise the work of service techniciansMaintain an organized, clean work environmentAdvise and mentor techniciansCommitment to customer service and service excellenceAbility to communicate and work effectively with customers, the service team, and other branch personnelEstablish & maintain an on-call field scheduleConverse with the customers and operators on the phone, email, or in personManage costs and ensure profitability of the departmentOpening and closing work orders, preparing work orders for warrantyOther duties as required
