Support mental health in Saskatchewan as a Wellness Navigator for the Métis Nation-Saskatchewan. Connect citizens to essential wellness services and resources while ensuring seamless care access.
In this full-time, temporary role until March 31, 2028, you will guide Métis citizens in navigating mental health, addictions, and wellness services. Your expertise will promote client-centered care, facilitating program connections and reducing service barriers. Collaboration with community partners will be essential to enhance service delivery throughout Saskatchewan.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide culturally responsive support for wellness navigation
• Assess individual needs for tailored service connections
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and organizations
• Update a comprehensive inventory of services regularly
• Maintain client records and documentation confidentially
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in Human Services or equivalent
• Experience with public system navigation
• Solid communication skills with community members
• Valid Saskatchewan driver's license required
• Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector needed
