Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this full‐time position will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair duties for on‐site equipment. This role must comply with Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) regulations and Arclin's policies and procedures.Electrician Job ResponsibilitiesEnsure proper operation of machinery and equipment by completing inspection, testing, and preventive maintenance requirementsWork safely around all mechanical equipment (lock out/tag out procedures, confined space procedures, etc.)Locate sources of problems by listening to and observing the operation of electrical equipment using PLC programs, precision measuring equipment, tools and deductive logicRemove and replace defective parts by dismantling and reassembling the equipment in proper configurationClean, lubricate, and adjust electrical parts, equipment and machinery to obtain proper operating conditionsExamine parts for defects such as opens, shorts, insulation breakdowns, wear, burns or breakage to determine underlying cause and effect of machine performanceAdjust functional parameters or programs to obtain desired machine operational resultsProvide electrical maintenance information by answering questions, filling out reports, analyzing information,



and keeping track of consumed parts and suppliesContribute to the maintenance team by accomplishing other tasks as neededKnow and follow all applicable federal and provincial standards and company proceduresEffectively use CMMS to enter work orders and track details of work completedElectrician Job QualificationsDegree/Certification in Electrical or Electronics Technology programValid construction and maintenance OR industrial electrician license2 years of experience in a fast‐paced, energetic industrial environmentKnowledge of instrumentation, control relays, PLCs, drives and other automation components preferredExposure to work on pneumatic, hydraulic, and steam systems preferredStrong communication skills, both written and verbal**Please note: The above statements outline the functions and position requirements of this job.
