Join us and contribute to building a more inclusive future.The RoleGrizzlyTrek is seeking apprentice welders to join our valued client's team in Red Deer, Alberta. This is a full-time permanent position in a fabrication shop, working Monday to Friday with overtime available. Pay is $23.00 to $35.00 per hour depending on your apprenticeship year and experience, and it moves up as you complete each period.You will work under journeyman supervision on structural and plate fabrication,



building real bead time while your hours are tracked and signed off toward your Red Seal. First through fourth year apprentices are welcome to apply. This is steady indoor shop work with no travel and no rotation, so you are home every night.What You'll DoTack, fit, and weld structural steel and plate under journeyman supervisionBuild hands‐on time with FCAW, GMAW (MIG), and SMAW (stick) processes on carbon steelPrepare material: measuring, layout, grinding, bevelling, and cleaning joints for weld outLearn to read shop drawings, weld symbols, and fabrication specificationsOperate grinders, plasma and oxy‐fuel cutting equipment, and assist with overhead crane picksComplete pre‐shift equipment checks, hazard assessments, and safety documentationKeep the work area, tooling, and bays clean, organized, and production readyWhat You BringRegistered Alberta welder apprentice (1st through 4th year), or eligible and willing to registerWelding school, a pre‐employment welding program, or hands‐on shop experienceBasic ability to run a bead and follow direction from a journeymanCurrent residence in Red Deer or the immediate area,
