Assemble and test electronic components and PCB's.Duties & ResponsibilitiesWith the use of a Microscopic, Manufacture and alignment of electronic-optical assemblies according to Manufacturing Work InstructionsBuilts Fibre-Optic assemblies using fine materials, such as; optical fibers, lenses,glass tubes, metal parts, epoxy adhesives, and other related materials.Preparation of Fibre-Optic Cable and add Terminations when RequiredConfigure & Test Electronic/Fibre-Optic Modules.Able to follow all work instructions and proceduresMaintains the working environment in clean and proper arrangement.Adherence to departmental and company policies and procedures. Including the 5 "S" Principles, ISO, misc. quality system proceduresCarry out other miscellaneous duties as may be assigned by ManagementRequirementsEducationPost-secondary certificate in related field or commensurate experienceExperienceRequired: Microscopic Component Assembly/ Precision Soldering: 2-3 yearsMust be detail oriented, precise and fast learnerMust be able to read, understand and follow instructions/drawings.PreferredAdditional experience with Fibre-Optic electronic component assemblyCommunicationMust be fluent in English.
