Join YWCA Regina as a Diversion Support Worker, providing critical daytime support for women and families in need. Your focus will be their immediate safety, housing, and health challenges.This full-time role requires a proactive, trauma-informed approach to assist those facing crises. As a Diversion Support Worker, you will build trust and connect clients to essential services, working from 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM on a 5-5-4 rotation. Your efforts will help divert those in need away from emergency services through impactful connections and referrals.Key Responsibilities:Foster relationships with women and families in crisisLink community members to necessary resources and servicesManage reporting and develop case plansFacilitate cultural connections and programmingRequirements:No formal education requirement0-6 months relevant experienceFamiliarity with community resourcesWillingness to work a adaptable scheduleCommitment to a client-centered, harm reduction modelMake a meaningful difference in the lives of women and families with YWCA Regina.
