9810 Seventh St #200, Sidney, BC V8L 4W6, CanadaJob DescriptionPharmasave #205 Sidney is looking for an experienced full-time Pharmacy Assistant to join our teamin Sidney, British Columbia.Patient Focused Care Responsibilities:Support pharmacists and pharmacy technicians in providing high-quality patient careGreet customers and answer phone calls in a professional mannerAssist with entering, labelling, and packaging prescriptions under the supervision of a pharmacist or pharmacy technicianAccurately count, measure, and package medications according to established protocolsReceive and stock medication and supply shipments, monitor inventory levels, rotate stock, and support inventory auditsKeep the pharmacy area clean and organized; safely dispose of expired medications and hazardous waste in accordance with regulationsPerform clerical tasks such as filing, faxing, scanning, and assist with insurance claims and prescription transfersAssist with daily pharmacy operations and perform other duties as assignedQualifications:Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience as a Pharmacy Assistant in a retail pharmacy setting, with a foundational understanding of pharmacy operations and business practices.Highly skilled in the use of Kroll, with strong accuracy and efficiency in prescription data entry.Demonstrates a solid understanding of Pharmacare/insurance billing processes and clinical services flagging.Completion of a pharmacy assistant program is an asset.Excellent verbal and written communication skills,
