While operating in a safe and responsible manner, the Shipper/Receiver will ensure accurate documentation, inventory control as well as accurate and timely delivery.*Mandatory travel to Drummondville Quebec for training, possibly 2 trips between date of hire until January of 2027. Employees will work/ train in Quebec for 2 weeks, and then return home for 2 weeks (off)*THE CHALLENGES WE HAVE FOR YOUReceiving shipments: Unloading trucks, inspecting goods for damage or discrepancies, verifying items against purchase ordersOrganizing stock for easy retrieval, maintaining accurate logs, and updating records to ensure reliable inventory trackingCarry out the weekly physical inventory of finished products and ensure their rotationShipping orders: Picking or verifying items, packaging according to carrier specifications, generating shipping labels and bills of lading,



and preparing loads for carrier pickupParticipating in and providing necessary training to peers to perform the work as requiredPerform any other tasks related to this position, as requested by the Shipping managerEnsure that workplaces meet the company's standards of cleanliness and safetySuggest any measures aimed at improving production activities and occupational health/safety.Support the production department in unloading the finished goods from the production lineSupport the unloader for rail cars by working as a backup operator to unload chemicals from trains / trucks into the tanksWork as a backup operator on the production line based on production priorities if necessaryTHE SKILLS WE ARE LOOKING FORYour Education :High School DiplomaYour Knowledge :Use of handheld scanners and tablets to scan part labels; Training in handling hazardous materials (an asset); GPAO software: AS/400 (an asset); Basic computingskills; Experience in amanufacturing plant (asset); Health and Safety Standards.Ability to consult and understand Safety Data Sheets (SDS); Your SkillsAnd Attitudes:Autonomy; Organizational skills; Analytical mindset and attention to detail; Good flexibility and adaptability; Proficiency with computer system; Team spirit / Team Player; The Work Conditions :Handling of hazardous products; Mandatory use of a cartridge respirator, gloves, and coveralls depending on the work area; Mandatory use of safety glasses, earplugs, and safety boots at all times.Wearing contact lenses is prohibited; Your Physical Requirements :Physical strength required (occasional handling of heavy loads); Valuable general physical condition (work is done sitting / standing up most of the time)
