software, audio-visual tools, and collaboration platformsProvide first- and second-level support, escalating issues appropriately when neededHardware, Software, & Infrastructure SupportSet up and maintain IT equipment, user management tools, desktops, laptops, and moreInstall and update operating systems and software applicationsAssist with onsite IT project supportUser Assistance and TrainingEnforce IT policies and ensure proper use of IT resourcesDeliver training sessions for employees on commonly used hardware and softwareSystem Monitoring and ReportingMonitor ticketing systems, equipment, and network services to ensure optimal performanceProvide regular feedback and updates on IT servicesContinuous ImprovementStay up to date with emerging technologies and industry best practicesDocument solutions to recurring issues and share knowledge with the teamOther Duties as AssignedSupport organizational events and fulfill additional responsibilities as neededWhat You BringEducation and Commitment to Growth:College Diploma in Networking, Application Development, or Cybersecurity (or a related technical field)CompTIA A+ CertificationExperience and Expertise:At least 2 years of experience providing end-user support and troubleshooting IT issuesSkills and Abilities:Strong technical expertise in operating systems, hardware, software,



and networkingFamiliarity with IT service management frameworks (e.G., ITSM, ITIL, COBIT).Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsOutstanding communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical usersA customer-focused mindset with a commitment to providing excellent serviceThe ability to prioritize and resolve issues effectively under pressureOther Requirements:A valid Class "G" Ontario driver's license and access to a personal vehicle for work-related purposesAbility to provide a Ministry of Transportation Driver Abstract and Police Information CheckWhat We Are OfferingAs a CUPE 2974.1 position, this role is on Band 10 with a starting hourly rate of $34.55 (effective April 1, 2026) is just the beginning.
