implement quality improvementsOversee catering functions and special events for internal and external clients/ groupsEstablish and maintain business relationships with vendors and suppliersPromote and assist in the marketing of the food program to both internal and external audiencesConstant analysis of the culinary program; identifying efficiencies and areas of chance within our culinary operationsMeet and collaborate with client initiatives to progress agreed upon efforts and provide feedbackEnsure compliance of all Company standards and Provincial/Federal LegislationEnsure compliance to all Food Safety, Food System Management and HACCP Policies and ProceduresWhat You'll Need toSucceed:Red Seal Certification is mandatory5 - 7 years' experience in Chef leadership rolePrevious University, College or Private School environment experiencean assetKnowledge in the understanding and preparation of a variety of cuisines is an assetKnowledge of industry standards and Legislative Policies and ProceduresAbility to work under pressure in a quick paced, team-centric and safety driven environmentProven organizational skills and strong computer capabilities including Microsoft Office useExceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with customers, clients and staff at all levelsAbility to work, problem solve and provide solutions independentlyExperience in sustainable and plant-based menu preparation is an assetGenuine desire to provide customer service experiences beyond expectationsA passion for food and for peopleAbility to pass both a standard background check and Vulnerable Sector ScreeningValid Food Handlers Certificate (Level 2, Advanced,
