OpportunityWe are seeking a senior advisor with specialized expertise in Cost Accounting and Inventory Management to join our Financial Accounting Advisory Services Finance Optimization (FAAS-FO) team in Montréal. This role is designed for a qualified who excels in the evaluation and optimization of product/service costing and inventory processes as a business advisor, ideally complemented by a strong background in accounting and financial reporting.FAAS operates through four pillars: Enhanced Corporate Reporting & Accounting, Finance Optimization, Treasury Management, and Transactions Advisory. The successful candidate will be a pivotal contributor, delivering fit‐for‐purpose financial advisory services and leading the team towards excellence in finance optimization.This posting relates to an existing vacancy within our organization.Your Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Senior Consultant within the Finance Function Optimization pillar, you will be responsible for:Participating in engagements related to cost accounting and inventory management, particularly in manufacturing or operational environmentsContributing to the assessment of clients' financial and operational processes (costs, inventory, financial close, reporting)Supporting the team in the analysis of cost methodologies (standard costing, cost tracking, variance analysis)Assisting with process documentation, identification of pain points, and development of improvement recommendationsContributing to the implementation of solutions (processes, controls, tools, reporting), including the preparation of client deliverables and presentationsCollaborating closely with project team members and clients,
