Reporting to the Logistics Manager, the candidate must be a dynamic individual with the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment. The traffic coordinator creates successful relationships with carriers, shipping personnel, customer service, and all other company employees. Knowledge of the shipping industry locally and/or internationally would be considered an asset.Negotiate freight rates with partner carriers; Coordinate shipments with Shippers and Consignees; Responsible fortracking and tracing shipments; Work with Salesand Customer Service on logistics-related tasks; Prepare freight-related reports as requested by ManagementQualificationsMinimum 1 year of experience in Freight / Traffic; Computer Skills(MS Word, Excel, Outlook); Some knowledge of Customs formalities; Solid communication and interpersonal skills; Problem-solvingand multitasking ability; Detail-orientedwith a strong sense of priority.We are an equal opportunity employer.
