Reporting to the Operations Finance Controller, this role provides end-to-end accounting and financial support for a portfolio of building projects, including project controls, reporting, budgets, and forecasts.Your Role in Building What Matters - From Office to SiteProject Accounting & Close - Lead transactional accounting, reconciliations, revenue recognition, accruals, and month-end close.Contracts, Billing & Account Receivable - Manage subtrade contracts, owner billings, Account Receivable, collections,



and change order reconciliations.Compliance & Audits - Ensure compliance with accounting standards, contracts, tax, and regulatory requirements, lead audits.Financial Reporting & Cash Flow - Prepare and analyze cash flow, Account Receivable, Account Payable, and support budgets and monthly reviews.Operations Partnership & Process Improvement - Partner with Operations on project setup, bids, and contract administration while driving system and process improvements.The Right Tools for the JobEducation & Credentials: Degree in Commerce, Business, Accounting, or related field; CPA designation preferred.Experience: 8+ years of relevant project accounting experience, ideally in construction, engineering, or heavy manufacturing environments.Skills & Systems: Advanced ERP proficiency (SAP preferred), with experience supporting audits, compliance, and system/process improvements.CompensationSalary Range $80,000 to $100,000 per annumCompensation aligned to education and experience, ensuring fair and competitive placementThree to five weeks of vacation, with additional credit for prior industry experienceFlexible, comprehensive Health & Dental advantages plan designed to support your well-being#LI-OFFICE #Accounting #Finance #OntarioJobs
