The successful candidate will be responsible for safely hauling, dumping, and moving materials such as rock, gravel, clay, sand, overburden, and other construction materials throughout project sites.Our projects may include road construction, earthworks, drainage, mine support work, pipeline maintenance, site development, reclamation, and civil infrastructure upgrades. We are looking for operators who are reliable, aware of their surroundings, and able to work safely around other equipment, haul routes, ground crews, changing site conditions, and active production areas.This is an excellent opportunity for operators who enjoy varied project work and are open to supporting projects in different locations throughout Western Canada.Key ResponsibilitiesRock Truck / Haul Truck OperationOperate rock trucks, articulated haul trucks, or similar equipment safely and efficientlyHaul and dump materials including rock, gravel, sand, clay, overburden, and other construction materialsFollow designated haul routes, traffic patterns, speed limits, and site instructionsLoad and dump materials in coordination with excavators, loaders, dozers, graders, and supervisorsMaintain safe spacing and communication with other trucks, equipment, and workers on footOperate on uneven terrain, slopes, haul roads, active work areas, and changing ground conditionsSupport civil construction, mining, pipeline maintenance, earthworks, road building, drainage, and reclamation activitiesSite & Crew SupportWork closely with supervisors, forepersons, equipment operators, labourers, and traffic control personnelCommunicate clearly with loading equipment operators and ground crewsAssist with safe and efficient movement of materials across the project siteFollow site sequencing and production requirements as directedAdapt to changing project priorities, weather, haul routes,



and site conditionsRepresent the Infracon Group of Companies professionally on project sitesEquipment Care & MaintenanceComplete daily pre-use inspections and equipment checksReport equipment deficiencies, maintenance issues, damage, or safety concerns promptlyMaintain equipment in a clean, secure, and work-ready conditionFollow proper start-up, shut-down, fueling, parking, and maintenance proceduresMonitor equipment performance throughout the shift and report concerns earlyOperate equipment within safe working limits and manufacturer guidelinesSafety & ComplianceFollow all company, client, and project safety policies, procedures, and safe work practicesParticipate in daily safety meetings, toolbox talks, field-level hazard assessments, and site orientationsMaintain strong situational awareness around active equipment, haul roads, workers, slopes, traffic, and changing site conditionsUse required personal protective equipment at all timesIdentify and report hazards, incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditionsFollow all site-specific traffic management, haul road, dumping, and loading proceduresDemonstrate a strong commitment to safety, quality, and teamworkWhat You BringExperience operating rock trucks, articulated haul trucks, or similar heavy equipmentPrevious experience in civil construction, mining, earthworks, road construction, pipeline, or industrial project environments is considered an assetStrong commitment to safe equipment operation and following site proceduresAbility to work safely around other equipment, haul trucks, ground crews, and active production areasGood communication skills and ability to follow directionReliable, punctual, and willing to travel for project-based workAbility to remain alert and focused during repetitive haul cyclesStrong awareness of changing ground conditions, slopes, traffic patterns, and site hazardsTeam-oriented attitude with a willingness to support project needsQualificationsPrevious rock truck, haul truck, or articulated truck operating experience is preferredExperience in civil construction, mining, pipeline maintenance, road construction, drainage, reclamation, utilities, or earthworks is considered an assetValid Class 5 driver's licence and reliable transportation are preferredEquipment operator training or relevant certifications are considered an assetGround Disturbance, CSTS, WHMIS, First Aid, H2S Alive,
