Job DescriptionAs theClinical Educator, youwill be accountable for the training and education of field staff within the district. certification as a Community Health Nurse is an assetWorking knowledge of applicable legislation including but not limited to the Mental Health Act, Substitute Decisions Act, Healthcare Consent Act, Privacy / Personal Health Information ActCompetence in best practices and standards of care for palliative, wound care, intravenous therapy,oncologyand other specialties as relevant to the district needsStrong presentation and interpersonal skillsExceptional critical thinking andproblem-solvingskillsKnowledge of applicable community resources available for clients and familiesDemonstrates commitment to professional development through involvement in committees, memberships, and associations relevant to home health care.Possesses a valid driver's license and vehicle and able to travel across the district to deliver education to staffExcellent computer skills including experience in Word,Powerpointand Excel arerequiredAble to provide a current, clear Vulnerable Position Screening (VPS).We are committed to providing an accessible and inclusive hiring process.
