The Wash Technician is responsible for secure wash/dry operations and inspection of poly hopper cars. The Wash Technician will take day to day work instruction from the Supervisor and work in conjunction with the on site switching provider to complete switching activities. Knowing and understanding applicable procedures, operating procedures, basic maintenance and escalation requirements. Execute daily rounds of the wash equipment and wash bay. Clean out, remove excess product in designated area.

Promptly report all safety concerns, and equipment issues Complete daily reports, daily logs, and other reports deemed necessary Participate in training or company initiatives as required Exert “best effort” to protect human life, human safety and company property Actively participate with the team and provide excellent customer service while promoting a superior company image Skills, Knowledge, & Abilities Excellent teamwork skills Physically fit including the ability to pull self-up and down from a railcar on a continuous basis.
