Your responsibilities will include:Consistently provide professional, friendly, engaging, and personalized service in accordance with Fairmont service standardsSet and reset tables and service stations according to established meal‐period and presentation standardsPrepare and maintain mise en place and side stations to ensure the team is ready for serviceDeliver water, bread, food, beverages, condiments, and other service items accurately and promptlyClear and crumb tables, replace settings, and reset tables efficiently while minimizing disruption to our guestsAnticipate the needs of guests and Servers throughout the dining experience and respond promptly to requestsMonitor and replenish china, glassware, flatware, linen, and other service suppliesCommunicate table status, guest requests, dietary restrictions, allergies, and service priorities clearly and accurately to Servers, Culinary colleagues, and leadersMaintain clean, organized, safe, and properly stocked dining areas, service stations, and workspacesAssist with opening and closing duties, side work, and special‐event or private‐dining setups as requiredBuild working knowledge of Notch8 menus, beverage offerings, promotions, and hotel programs to support the guest experienceFollow all food safety, sanitation, workplace safety, departmental, and hotel proceduresFollow Fairmont brand standards and the provisions of the applicable Collective AgreementMaintain professional appearance, grooming, hygiene, and uniform standardsParticipate in required briefings,



meetings, training, audits, and service excellence initiativesPromptly report hazards, incidents, injuries, damaged equipment, and maintenance or security concernsPerform other duties reasonably assigned that are consistent with the nature and scope of the positionQualificationsWhat You Bring to the RolePrevious experience in a restaurant, banquet, cafeteria, or hospitality environment, with luxury hotel or upscale restaurant experience considered an assetStrong guest‐service orientation with a warm, professional, and attentive approachAbility to communicate effectively in EnglishFoodSafe Level 1 or equivalent, or the ability to obtain certification within the required timeframeValid Serving It Right certification preferredFamiliarity with food and beverage service and restaurant operationsAbility to safely and efficiently carry trays, food, beverages, and service items while working in a busy Notch8 restaurant environmentStrong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skillsOrganized, reliable, and attentive to detailAbility to prioritize and remain calm and professional in a fast‐paced environment with changing service demandsStrong sense of responsibility and commitment to Fairmont service and safety standardsProfessional appearance and grooming in accordance with hotel standardsFlexibility to work weekends, holidays, evenings, and rotating shifts as requiredPhysical Demands & Operational RequirementsStanding and walking for extended periods throughout the shiftFrequent bending, reaching, carrying, and repetitive movementAbility to lift and carry up to 14 kg (30 lbs.)Ability to safely carry trays and service itemsAbility to work effectively in a busy, noisy restaurant environment with changing service demandsAdditional InformationVisa RequirementsMust be legally eligible to work in Canada.
