Our cross-functional teams work collaboratively with Alberta-based businesses and organizations to build AI capacity and translate scientific advancement into industry adoption and economic impact.About The RoleThe Instructional Designer - LMS Integrations for the Training team primarily leads the seamless integration of our AI literacy content into the Learning Management Systems (LMS) of partner organizations across K-12 education, post-secondary institutions, and industry. In addition to guiding LMS implementation and technical alignment, this position leverages pedagogical expertise to contribute to content development, ensuring high-quality AI and ML learning experiences are tailored for maximum impact.Reporting to the Manager, AIWR, the Instructional Designer - LMS Integrations serves as a key member of the Training team and actively participates in executing Amii's business functions.This is a Full-time Term position with an end date of March 31,
2028.The position focuses on achieving excellence in three main accountabilities:Partner SuccessContent ExcellenceTeam CollaborationRequired Skills / ExpertiseKey ResponsibilitiesLeads the technical and pedagogical integration of Amii AI/ML training content into internal and external Learning Management Systems (LMS) for partners across K-12, post-secondary, and industry sectorsCollaborates directly with partner technical and educational teams to ensure smooth LMS setup, SCORM/LTI compatibility, authentication, and content deploymentProvides ongoing LMS technical support, troubleshooting, and optimization to maintain seamless delivery and high partner satisfactionApplies universal design principles and accessibility standards to ensure integrated course material is accessible to all partner learnersUtilizes rapid authoring tools and instructional design methodologies to develop high-quality, scalable e-learning modules tailored for LMS integration and instructor-led offeringsWorks closely with subject matter experts to translate complex AI and ML concepts into engaging, interactive, and pedagogically sound learning materialsContinuously evaluates and updates course materials to ensure accuracy, alignment with current AI industry standards, and pedagogical effectivenessCollaborates closely with cross-functional teams including Product, Training, and Technical Leads to streamline course deployment workflowsShares LMS integration best practices and technical documentation across the organization to enhance team efficiency and knowledge sharingContributes to internal tools, process improvements, and project tracking to ensure timely delivery of integration milestonesRequired QualificationsPost-secondary degree in Education, Machine Learning, or related field3+ years instructional design experience2+ years of experience building, publishing,
