As a Registered Pharmacy Technician, you will ensure medications are dispensed accurately and maintain compliance with health regulations. Your responsibilities will also include processing prescriptions, compounding medications, and inventory management while following USP 797 standards.
Key Responsibilities: • Verify and process current and refill prescriptions accurately • Compound non-hazardous and hazardous medications • Manage inventory and order supplies as needed • Maintain pharmacy records in accordance with guidelines • Collaborate with healthcare staff on medication inquiries
Requirements: • High School Diploma required • Pharmacy Technician Diploma from a recognized college • OCP Certification as Registered Pharmacy Technician • Specialized training in Aseptic Technique preferred • Familiarity with Kroll software an asset
