Become a female respite caregiver with Resicare Society of Calgary, providing essential support for a young woman with developmental disabilities. This role involves caring assistance and engaging activities like music and outdoor walks in the SW area.
As part of a compassionate team, you will support her daily living activities, implement individualized care strategies, and maintain an atmosphere of safety and respect. Transitioning from part-time to a full time support home, your work will significantly impact her independence.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist a non-verbal young woman's personal care needs
• Foster a supportive and safe environment
• Implement tailored support strategies effectively




• Document care and progress accurately
• Collaborate with family and Resicare’s support staff
Requirements:
• Diploma in Rehabilitation or Social Services
• Minimum 2 years experience with developmental disabilities
• Valid First Aid/CPR and certification required
• Recent Vulnerable Police check required
• Desire to empower and support individuals in their journey
