L'Arche Hamilton is seeking a dedicated Nighttime Support Assistant for an awake overnight position from 11 PM to 7 AM. Engage with core members while ensuring their safety and health needs are met.
This overnight position involves alternating shifts, where you'll collaborate with the House team to implement behavioral programs and respond to any health needs. Responsibilities include medication administration, writing summaries, and ensuring domestic tasks are completed effectively. You play a crucial role in creating a secure and nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Participate in personal care and behavioral support plans
• Administer any required medication under supervision
• Summarize nightly activities in communication logs
• Complete essential household tasks like laundry and cleaning
• Maintain Daily Night Check forms and chore lists
Requirements:
• Completed high school diploma or equivalent
• Robust English communication skills
• Up-to-date police check, including vulnerable sector
• CPR & First Aid certification is a plus
• Must be 18 years or older
