We are looking for a reliable, practical, and hardworking General Maintenance / Caretaker to help look after our property in beautiful New Denver, BC, in the heart of the Kootenay region.

This is a hands-on position suited to someone who is naturally handy, self-motivated, fast, and takes pride in keeping a property clean, safe, well maintained, and looking its best. The ideal candidate is someone who sees a crooked fence, a messy storage area, a snowy walkway, or something that needs fixing — and simply takes care of it.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Responsibilities:

- General property maintenance and repairs
- Keeping common areas, walkways, and outdoor areas clean and tidy
- Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, and other general cleaning
- Maintaining outdoor areas, gardens, lawns,



and grounds
- Snow shovelling and winter property maintenance
- Garbage and recycling duties
- Basic painting, repairs, and touch-ups
- Basic plumbing, carpentry, and other handy person tasks where appropriate
- Checking and maintaining property fixtures, equipment, and furnishings
- Assisting with room/property maintenance and preparing units as required
- Moving, lifting, carrying, and organizing supplies and equipment
- Identifying maintenance issues before they become larger problems
- Keeping storage, maintenance, and work areas organized
- Assisting with seasonal maintenance and other property projects
- Other general duties as required to keep the property running smoothly

Qualifications:

- At least two years of related experience
- High School Diploma
- English or French speaking
