OverviewDo you have experience providing exceptional customer service? We have opportunities for client-focused individuals to join our Assessments department as Employer Service Centre Agents (ESCA).The Assessments department at WorkSafeBC is responsible for helping employers register for our no-fault insurance systems and maintain their accounts. Working in our call centre, you'll support our customer service initiatives by acting as the first point of contact for employers who require assistance with their insurance coverage - answering their questions regarding coverage, registration, and payment. This is a temporary opportunity for 18 months.How you'll make a difference:You'll help ensure B.C.'s workers' compensation system is properly funded so we can serve workers and employers now and in the future.Working at WorkSafeBCWe serve the workers and employers across B.C., and we do that best when we're together. We remain committed to a work model that strengthens our culture and helps us deliver our best work, while balancing flexibility and a positive employee experience.What you will doHandle incoming phone inquiries regarding employer assessments, account compliance, financial transactions, and WorkSafeBC's Online services.Collect required financial information from clients for the employer account,



which may require placing phone calls to employersCommunicate via email to new employers and e-business agents who have requested assistance for online account servicesInvestigate employer contact information for returned mail and update contact information on employer accountsConsistently model the appropriate level of organizational behaviours expected of all WorkSafeBC employees: responsive, respectful, fair, collaborative, accountable, and forward thinking.Is this a good fit for you?We're looking for people who can:Provide outstanding customer serviceGather and analyze information in a timely mannerActively listen and clearly convey information to audiences with varying levels of knowledgeInteract in a diplomatic, empathetic, and objective manner, and build rapport with individualsIndependently manage changing priorities and frequent interruptionsYour background and experienceAbility to handle incoming phone inquiriesMust have good typing skillsAbility to apply correct English language skills, grammar, and spellingAbility to accurately record and enter dataImportant to knowBefore we can finalize any offer of employment, you must:Consent to a criminal record checkConfirm you're legally entitled to work in CanadaWho we areAt WorkSafeBC, we promote safe and healthy workplaces across British Columbia.
