JOB SUMMARYUnder the direct supervision of Pharmacy Operations Manager or team lead, the pharmaceutical labeler, ensures labels are placed on packages accurately and efficiently.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESPrint out labels for medicationsEnsure that labels are placed on the correct medication in a timely mannerAssembles, labels and provides supplies as required under specific contractsParticipates in quality assurance activities as directedPerforms general housekeeping duties in the department on daily basisFiles documents appropriately according to P&P'sCommunicates appropriately with all members of the healthcare team.Participates in Performance Improvement and Quality Assurance activities education programs and department/branch meetings.Performs other duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONSEducation, Certificates and ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent.Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment which requires a high level of accuracy.Language SkillsAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedure manuals.Ability to understand basic medical terminology.Mathematical SkillsAbility to add, subtracts, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.Ability to compute rate, ratio,



and percent and must be able to perform basic algebraic calculations.Reasoning AbilityAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.Ability to deal with problems involving several variables in standardized situations.Other Skills and Abilitiesorganized and disciplined; basic computer skills.Physical DemandsThe employee is regularly required to talk or hear.The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, sit, and use hands to prepare packages for shipment, use computer and other equipment and reach with hands and arms.Vision requirements include close vision, colour vision, night vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.Lifting required as per employee capacity, employee must notify Supervisor regarding any health issues that may affect ability to liftWORK ENVIORMENTWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to fumes or airborne particlesThe employee may be occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicalsThe employee occasionally works near moving partsThe noise level in this work workplace is usually moderate
