Become a key contributor at Credit Valley Conservation as a Hydrology and Hydraulic Specialist. This full-time position focuses on flood risk assessment, hydrologic modeling, and emergency management.

This role, reporting to the Manager of Hydrology and Hydraulics, offers the chance to impact floodplain regulation and emergency preparedness. You'll develop hydraulic models and support ongoing hydrology studies while contributing to the flood forecasting program. Key Responsibilities:



• Develop and maintain hydrologic and hydraulic models • Create floodplain hazard and risk maps using HEC-RAS • Assist in flood risk assessments and manage databases • Support hydrology and floodplain mapping studies • Maintain flood forecast models for risk determination

Requirements: • University degree in Water Resources Engineering or related field • 3-5 years of hydrology and hydraulic modeling experience • Familiarity with rainfall-runoff analysis and software tools • Robust oral and written communication skills • Ability to work independently and manage projects
