Kitchenuhmaykoosib Inninuwug is searching for a Maintenance Worker to ensure a safe and functional environment through vehicle and building maintenance. This role may require flexible schedule. As a Maintenance Worker within KIDO, your responsibilities include the maintenance and repair of both vehicles and various building systems. This hands-on role prioritizes safety and requires a broad skill set, including plumbing, electrical, and basic carpentry knowledge. You will also require strong communication skills to facilitate teamwork with fellow KIDO staff to address facility needs. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee vehicle maintenance and inspections
- Execute basic repairs on plumbing and electrical systems
- Manage seasonal snow removal and safety upkeep




- Organize and maintain inventory of repair equipment
- Collaborate with team members on facility needs Requirements:
- Minimum five years of practical maintenance experience
- Ability in various trade areas, especially plumbing and carpentry
- Proficient communication skills, including Anishininiimowin
- Must possess a valid Ontario Driver's License
