Support AgeCare's mission as a Maintenance Technician, focusing on maintaining a secure living environment for residents. Your expertise in maintenance will enhance service quality and care.
Within this position, you will be responsible for both preventative and routine maintenance within the community. By ensuring facilities are in optimal condition, you facilitate a comfortable atmosphere for residents and staff alike. Teamwork and communication are key as you collaborate on various maintenance projects.
Key Responsibilities: • Conduct repairs on building systems,
including HVAC and plumbing • Manage landscaping and outdoor maintenance activities • Track maintenance schedules and ensure compliance with procedures • Inspect and replace lighting fixtures in common areas • Coordinate with subcontractors on specific repair tasks
Requirements: • Strong background in maintenance, including plumbing and electrical systems • Effective verbal and written communication skills in English • Relevant experience in general building maintenance is required • Previous supervisory experience is highly regarded • Ability to efficiently prioritize and schedule maintenance activities
