Teach CHM373H5 Techniques in Biological Chemistry II at UofT Mississauga. This sessional lecturer role offers an prospect to convey key techniques such as chromatography and enzyme kinetics.
In this role, you will deliver high-level lectures and practical application of advanced biochemical techniques to students in a synchronous format. Your recent research and documented teaching excellence will play a critical role in curriculum delivery and student supervision. You will also manage assignments and provide guidance to TAs, ensuring a well-rounded educational experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop weekly lecture content covering biochemical techniques
• Prepare and grade course assessments and examinations
• Lead and mentor Teaching Assistants in practical labs




• Conduct office hours for student engagement and support
• Maintain accurate records of student progress
Requirements:
• Ph.D. in Chemistry or closely related field
• Recent research experience showcasing subject mastery
• Proven excellence in related teaching positions
• Competent in guiding student learning interactions
• Available for the appointment from January 2027 to April 2027
