About the Role
Our client is seeking a motivated Graduate Civil Engineer to join their structural engineering team in Kimberley . This entry-level position provides an excellent opportunity to gain foundational experience in structural analysis and design under the mentorship of experienced professionals. You will assist in the preparation of designs, drawings, and calculations for a variety of building and infrastructure projects, contributing to the development of the Northern Cape. This role is perfect for a recent graduate eager to launch their career in a supportive and challenging engineering environment. Key Responsibilities
Assist in the structural analysis and design of building components and infrastructure. Prepare engineering drawings and calculations using CAD software under supervision. Support senior engineers in the preparation of technical reports and specifications. Conduct site visits to observe construction activities and assist with site inspections.
Learn and apply relevant engineering codes, standards, and best practices. Collaborate with team members on project tasks and contribute to problem-solving efforts. Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. A strong academic record with coursework in structural engineering is essential. Basic understanding of structural principles and analysis techniques. Familiarity with CAD software is a plus. Eagerness to learn and develop technical and skilled skills. Good communication and teamwork abilities for working within our Kimberley office. Benefits
