Enhance community well-being with the County of Brant as a Community Safety and Well-Being Coordinator in Paris. Develop initiatives, engage stakeholders, and support diversity and inclusion efforts.

This role reports to the Community Safety and Well-Being Supervisor and requires expertise in community development, social work, and public sector administration. You will implement the Community Safety & Well-Being Plan (CSWB) and collaborate with various departments to promote inclusion and support vulnerable populations. Your ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups will be key to advancing safety priorities.

Key Responsibilities:



• Implement County’s CSWB and DEI strategies • Coordinate public engagement activities and surveys • Organize workshops and training on community safety • Collaborate with community groups and departments • Prepare reports on CSWB and DEI progress

Requirements: • Post-secondary education in relevant fields • 1-2 years’ experience in community safety or social services • Knowledge of Ontario’s CSWB frameworks • Robust communication and organizational skills • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
