The schedule for this position is 5 days on and 2 days off. At this time, applicants local to Bonnyville and surrounding areas will be considered.ResponsibilitiesHands on maintenance and repairs of all civil construction and automotive fleet equipment, including dozers, articulated trucks, excavators, service vehicles, etc.Running repairs and maintenance work.Replacing components.Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical, mechanical and hydraulic faults.Preventive maintenance and services.Complete work according to the manufacturer's specifications.Work closely with customers maintenance and operations personnel.Interpret work orders and technical manuals.Keep equipment cleaned, lubricated and maintained.Diagnose faults or malfunctions.Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts,



components or systems.Test repaired equipment for proper performance and ensure that the work done meets manufacturers' specifications and legislated regulations.Complete service reports.Ability to understand hydraulic and electronic schematics.Minimum RequirementsProvincial Journeyperson or Red Seal Certification in Heavy Equipment Technician tradeMinimum 3–5 years of experience servicing and repairing heavy equipment in a field or a yardStrong interest in automotive equipment maintenance is highly valued, as the majority of workflow consists of supporting automotive fleetField experience is considered an assetStrong commitment to safety, with knowledge of safe work practices and job site protocolsValid Class 5 Driver's LicenseReliable transportation to get to workEqual Opportunity EmployerWe're proud to be an Equal Chance Employer and are committed to an inclusive, accessible workplace.
