Hull Services is looking for a part-time Facilitator for the Braiding the Sweetgrass initiative, designed to address the needs of Indigenous families dealing with intergenerational trauma. This role includes a 20-hour work week, focusing on both individual and group programming, conducted in collaboration with Elders and team members. Candidates should have a passion for community engagement and healing methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate programming aligned with Braiding the Sweetgrass goals
• Work closely with Elders and specialists for holistic healing
• Ensure smooth administration of program activities
• Plan community events and mentorship opportunities
• Write debriefing notes post-session for participant insights
Requirements:
• Degree or diploma in Human Services or a related area
• Minimum two years of related experience
• Solid communication and time management skills
• Extensive knowledge of Indigenous cultures and trauma
• Reliable transportation and driving experience required
