Job Opportunity: Executive DirectorAre you a strategic, relationship-driven leader who thrives on building solid business communities?Are you a strategic, relationship-driven leader who thrives on building strong business communities?The Dryden District Chamber of Commerce is seeking a highly capable and committed Executive Director to lead and grow our organization. This is a senior leadership role for a professional who brings focus, goal orientated follow-through, and a genuine passion for supporting local business.About the RoleBeing a non-profit organization, the Executive Director works closely with our membership of approx. 115+ members to advocate concerns, promote and grow the value of membership, build business connections, fundraising, and grant writing. While working with a board of directors you will be responsible for implementing the strategic plan, annual operating budget, planning and running events, basic marketing, hosting meetings, while maintaining day-to-day operations. You will work with our bookkeeper for monthly reporting.Key ResponsibilitiesRepresent the Chamber publicly and advocate for businessGrow and engage membership through proactive recruitment and retention strategiesGenerate non-dues revenuePlan, manage, and execute events, programs, and marketing initiativesOversee financial operations, budgeting, grant applications, and work closely with the bookkeeper on monthly reportingSupport staff,
sub committees and volunteers as neededReport regularly to the Board of Directors and monthly board of directors meetings.Stay informed on legislative, economic, and industry trends impacting local businessesMaintain social media posts and keep website currentQualificationsExperience in a non-profit or membership-based organization, an assetPrevious experience as Executive Director or business management, marketing manager and/ or sales manager.Proven ability to build relationships and close salesProven understanding of how to work with a board, annual budget and Strat plan.Experience with Canva or similar program to create marketing branded itemsExperienced with Constant Contact, an assetProficient in Microsoft Office and willingness to learn accounting softwareExcellent communication, organizational and time management skillsAble to work both independently and collaborativelyHold a valid Class G driver's license, with own vehicle for use & proof of insurance.Additional DetailsPosition Type: On-site, leadership roleHours: 30 hours per week (Monday–Thursday), with occasional pre-planned evening or weekend commitments.Location: 61 King Street, Dryden, ONCompensation: $30.00 per hour with 3 weeks paid vacationBenefits: Available through a benefits application process for the successful candidateHow to Apply:Please submit your resume and cover letter to
