Your high energy and drive will create a work workplace focused on success and continuous process improvement.Work Type: Full-TimeGrade - 7 Salary Range - $51,975 - $65,000 CAD per yearThis is a new positionJob Duties:The core responsibilities of the Purchasing Specialist lie in fostering and maintaining positive relationships with new and existing partners, both internal and external,



through a variety of inventory management practices.Key traits and qualities required to be successful in these responsibilities are exemplified as:Possessing clear and open methods of communicationShowcasing a keen attention to detail and proactivityEngaging in and contributing to team-based environmentsEmbracing, presenting, and celebrating new ideasThe daily tasks can include but are not limited to the following:Work closely with a portfolio of vendor partners to coordinate inventory requirements for all of Purity Life's distribution centersMaintain accurate stock levels that are in-line with department budgets and guaranteed dating requirementsMitigate risk and exposure by managing the inventory reserve and stock rebalancing processesProvide accurate, proactive, and transparent communication across all internal departments on fill rate challenges, delayed shipments or any other activity that could impact the regular operations within Purity Life and its customer baseExpedite inbound purchase orders and update the system with revised expected delivery datesAssist in coordinating delivery appointments with receiving departments and freight carriers when applicableMaintain vendor records and profiles within the vendor management systemSome travel for trade show and team events may be requiredJob Requirements:Degree, diploma or certification a definite assetExperience of using all MS Office tools and ability to adapt to new technologyAbility to effectively communicate both verbally and in writingAbility to prioritize and manage conflicting demands in a fast-paced and changing environmentHigh flexibility with robust interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse environment
