Responsibilities
- Evaluate daily operations.
- Plan and organize daily operations.
- Plan and prepare work schedules.
- Inspect subcontractors work to ensure quality and conformity with plans and specifications.
- Prepare estimates and bids for home construction, renovation and restoration projects.
- Work with customers, architects and engineers regarding plans and specifications.
- Prepare and maintain directory of supplies and trade contractors.
Supervision
- 5-10 people
Background and Requirements
Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.
- Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence.
- Work site workplace: Dusty, Noisy.
- Work setting: Management, Supervision, Residential renovation, Various locations.
- Budgetary responsibility: $100,001 - $500,000.
- Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots.
- Personal suitability: Client focus, Flexibility, Judgement, Organized, Reliability, Team player.
- Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Tight deadlines, Attention to detail.
