Citi is seeking a Java Backend Developer to enhance Citi Direct’s Payment architecture. This full time role focuses on Core Java and modern technologies, including Spring and Apache Kafka.
As an Assistant Vice President at Citi, you will play a crucial role in modernizing our payment systems. The ideal candidate will have over three years of Java experience and knowledge in building microservices. You will work with high-performance Java backends, utilizing tools like MongoDB and Oracle, to ensure effective data management and integration with our services.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and maintain scalable Java-based backend services
Implement microservices using Spring Framework 6 and Spring Boot 3
Work on event-driven architectures with Apache Kafka
Optimize MongoDB and Oracle database schemas
Establish comprehensive unit and integration testing frameworks
Requirements:
3+ years of Java development experience
