Woodlands Inn & Suites is seeking a reliable, self-motivated Hotel Maintenance person to support the day-to-day maintenance and overall upkeep of our hotel property.

This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys problem-solving, and can work independently while maintaining a high standard of safety and professionalism.

Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance and inspections of guest rooms and public areas
Handle general repairs including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems
Repair furniture, fixtures, and hotel equipment
Maintain exterior grounds including landscaping, parking lot upkeep, and winter maintenance
Respond promptly to guest maintenance requests
Maintain tools, workshop organization, and inventory
Assist with shuttle vehicle upkeep and occasional guest transportation
Support building safety compliance and inspections

Qualifications
3–5 years of maintenance experience (hotel, building, or property maintenance preferred)
Strong working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general repair work




Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Valid Class 5 driver’s license required
Basic computer skills
WHMIS, First Aid, or related certifications are considered an asset

Schedule
Full-time
Monday to Friday
8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
On-call evenings and weekends as needed

Compensation & Benefits
$32–$35 per hour based on experience
50% employer-paid benefits plan
2 weeks vacation after 1 year
