Victoria, BC Position Summary Carpenters at On Side rebuild and restore damaged personal property anywhere and anytime a disaster strikes. With the goal of getting things back to a pre-disaster state Carpenters or Multi-Skilled Tradespeople, use the skills of carpenters, drywallers and painters! Compensation Salary Range: $29-$35/hour Overtime opportunities (where applicable) On-call premium and overtime paid for rotating coverage Extended health coverage (medical, dental, vision, etc.) Employee assistance program (EAP) Group RRSP, with company matching DPSP Life and disability insurance Opportunities for advancement and internal mobility What You’ll Do Finishing work and fine details, rough and trim Installation, doors, trim, moldings, baseboards and hardware Repairs to wooden structures of all sorts Insulation and vapour barrier Cabinetry (removal, repair, reinstallation) Flooring installation and repairs Framing Cross train into other departments What You Bring 5+ years doing interior carpentry repairs/restoration Interior carpentry repairs Experience with interior and exterior home repairs Leadership to guide helpers and train less experienced workers Refined skills with various in-home renovation repairs/restoration vs current build Restoration/rebuild focus (flood/fire damage)
