Join Generations Toronto as a Nursing Unit Clerk, where you’ll play a vital role in coordinating daily staffing for our Nursing Department. Help create a protected and supportive setting for residents and staff.
This role focuses on managing staffing schedules, ensuring that all shifts are adequately covered, and addressing absenteeism. As a key member of the team, you will assist in maintaining communication with the Director of Care regarding overtime and staff availability. Your contributions are essential in fostering a compassionate and secure atmosphere in our intergenerational community.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate daily staffing and scheduling needs
• Update the Master Schedule with staffing changes
• Communicate recurrent absenteeism to the Director of Care
• Obtain approval for overtime work as needed
• Maintain accurate attendance and absenteeism records
Requirements:
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Post-secondary education is an asset
• Exceptional English communication skills
• Willingness to obtain current CPR certification
• Previous Canadian work experience is not required
