Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for a Project Control Officer (PCO) in the financial services in a hybrid work environment in Toronto, Ontario. Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Project Control Officer (PCO) to support a strategic initiative within a large enterprise environment. Working closely with a Project Manager, you will provide project coordination, reporting, financial tracking, governance support, and overall project administration to help ensure successful project delivery.

Responsibilities:
Support the Project Manager with project planning, execution, and governance activities
Maintain project schedules, status reports, action logs, risk registers, and issue logs
Track project financials, budgets, forecasts, and expenditures
Coordinate meetings, document decisions, and follow up on action items
Prepare project documentation and reporting materials for stakeholders
Monitor project progress and elevate concerns where appropriate




Assist in managing dependencies and ensuring deliverables are completed on schedule
Support project governance and reporting requirements

Successful candidates will have:
Experience working as a Project Control Officer, Project Coordinator, or similar project support role
Strong organizational and prioritization skills
Experience supporting project financial management, forecasting, and budget tracking
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other project management tools
Ability to work independently and proactively identify opportunities to support project success

Total rewards:$70.00 - $90.00 hourly

Initial 12-month contract
