Become a Dock Receiver with The Erb Group, a leader in refrigerated transport, ensuring smooth loading and unloading processes in a refrigerated setting. Work Monday to Friday from 2am to 10:30am.
In this essential role, you will utilize your forklift expertise while adhering to safety protocols. As a Dock Receiver, you'll understand freight operations, load straight trucks and trailers, and manage dock space effectively. Your attention to detail will ensure products are matched accurately to freight bills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Understand and handle freight processes on the dock
• Load trucks and trailers, maintaining equipment temperatures
• Judge freight volumes, cubing, and report details as needed
• Set up dock floor for productive order retrieval
• Operate pallet-jack and forklift safely
Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years of forklift experience
• Knowledge of Erb’s systems is a plus
• Ability to work in cold environments for up to 8 hours
• Must lift up to 70lbs
• Solid communication skills with dock staff
