Join Kichton Construction LP as a Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician in Fort McMurray, supporting energy and mining projects. Bring your expertise in troubleshooting and repair to our agile team.
We are looking for two experienced Heavy Equipment Technicians to work in our Fort McMurray shop and on site. Ideal candidates have 7+ years of hands-on experience and possess a fully equipped service truck. You will diagnose, repair, and document work on various heavy equipment, primarily CAT, in a range of weather conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot and repair heavy equipment effectively
Complete detailed service reports at each shift's end
Decode fault codes and assess vehicle repair scope
Order parts in coordination with the Parts Department
Document daily activities, inspections, and safety practices
Requirements:
Journeyperson certificate and 7+ years of relevant experience
Proficient in English, both spoken and written
Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean abstract
Must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol test
Own a fully equipped truck and tools
