The Municipality of East Hants is looking for an accomplished leader in recreation or community development. Reporting to the Chief Administrative Officer, you will manage a diverse team focused on delivering top-tier recreation services and tourism projects.

This role entails strategic planning, community collaboration, and effective program management.

Key Responsibilities:
Direct the team responsible for recreation programs
Oversee operations at the Sportsplex and Aquatic Centre
Implement the East Hants Tourism Strategy
Collaborate with groups to enhance community offerings
Support volunteer recruitment and training efforts

Requirements:
Five years of leadership experience required
Three years of team management in relevant fields
Proven experience in strategic planning and budgeting
Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations
Competence in technology, especially MS Office
