About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Industrial Engineer with expertise in automation to join their forward-thinking team in Kimberley . This critical role will focus on designing, implementing, and optimizing automated systems to enhance manufacturing efficiency, product quality, and operational safety. You will lead projects involving the integration of new technologies, robotics, and control systems, playing a pivotal role in modernizing our client's production capabilities. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of automation principles and a proven ability to deliver innovative, high-impact solutions within the industrial sector of the Northern Cape. Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement automation solutions for manufacturing processes in Kimberley . Evaluate and select appropriate automation technologies, including robotics, PLCs, and control systems. Lead and manage automation projects from conception through to implementation and commissioning. Optimize existing automated systems to improve performance, reliability, and throughput.



Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate automation into the overall production strategy. Ensure compliance with safety standards and best practices in automated environments. Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field with an automation focus. Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial engineering with a specialization in automation and robotics. Proven experience in designing and implementing automated production lines. Strong knowledge of PLC programming , HMI development, and robotic systems integration. Excellent project management, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
