About the Role Our client is seeking a highly empathetic and organized Director of Athlete Relations to manage and enhance the experience of athletes within their organization, operating remotely. This role is dedicated to supporting athletes holistically, addressing their needs beyond the field of play, and ensuring they have the resources and guidance necessary for success both professionally and personally. You will serve as a key liaison between athletes and the organization, fostering a positive and supportive workplace. This position requires excellent interpersonal skills and a genuine commitment to athlete well-being.
Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary point of contact for athletes, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly and effectively.
Develop and implement programs focused on athlete well-being, including mental health support, career development, and educational opportunities.
Facilitate communication between athletes, coaches, management, and other support staff.
Assist athletes in navigating team policies, contracts, and logistical challenges.




Organize team-building activities and events to foster camaraderie and a strong team culture.
Maintain confidential records and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
Requirements Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Sports Management, Communications, or a related field.
Minimum 6 years of experience in athlete support, player relations, or a similar role within sports organizations.
Proven experience in conflict resolution and crisis management.
Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and empathy skills.
Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
Familiarity with the unique challenges and needs of professional athletes .
