Aspira Peninsula Retirement Living is seeking a dedicated Recreation Assistant and Driver for its Surrey location. In this full time role, you'll provide essential support to seniors while facilitating enjoyable activities and trips.

This permanent position includes 75 hours bi-weekly, allowing you to make a real difference in the lives of residents. As a Recreation Assistant/Driver, your responsibilities will include transporting residents to outings, setting up social events, and helping monitor their engagement. Your efforts will help foster a sense of community and connection in the retirement home.

Key Responsibilities:
• Transport residents for trips, shopping, and events
• Organize activity areas and assist residents when required




• Track residents' progress and interests for program tailoring
• Encourage social interaction via planned activities
• Keep detailed records of programs and feedback

Requirements:
• Diploma or degree in recreation or related area
• Valid Class 4 or equivalent Driver’s License
• Proven experience with seniors and leisure motivation
• Solid computer skills and understanding of leisure principles
• Successful completion of background checks
